A US source stated late Monday that Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry, who is stuck in Puerto Rico while his nation devolves into anarchy, is welcome to remain on US territory after resigning in an attempt to defuse the situation.
Additionally, according to the person, Henry gave his resignation in a phone call with Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday. Blinken was in Jamaica for an urgent Caribbean summit in Haiti.
