India’s anticipated pricing for the BYD Seal EV:

The Hyundai Ioniq 5, which costs Rs 45.95 lakh (ex-showroom), will be fiercely rivaled by the BYD Seal EV, which is anticipated to retail for about Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Expected specs for BYD Seal EV India:

The BYD Seal EV is probably going to be available with a 982.5kWh battery pack that has a 570km stated range on the WLTP test. It has rear-wheel drive and a permanent magnet synchronous motor with 360 Nm of torque and 230 horsepower. It takes 5.9 seconds to get from 0 to 100 kmph.

With a 150kW charger, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 37 minutes, and with a standard 11kW charger, it can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in 8.6 hours. Additionally, it is expected that the business will provide a dual-motor AWD version with a 520 km stated range and 530 horsepower at peak power.

The Seal adheres to the brand’s “ocean aesthetics” design language and is modeled by the Ocean X concept from 2021. It has a split headlight design, an all-glass roof akin to a coupe, boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, flush-fitting door handles, and a full-width LED light bar at the back.

It is probably going to include a heads-up display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 15.6-inch infotainment system. Basic controls for features like two wireless charging pads, an audio system volume control, and a heated windshield are probably going to be added to the central control.
